Hello Team,
Our team just install our product for a PHP project on Visual studio 2019.
This is working pretty well but we have some troubles based on testing process.
According to your documentation and PHPUnit doc we can configure specific tests order by specifying order of file
used by the phpunit.xml file create in the root of our project.
We tried a lot of things but nothing worked. If there is no directory element, Visual studio doesn't detect our tests.
And if the directory is specified, PHPUnit doesn't consider anything about files order.
Configuration:
- Visual studio Professional 2019 version 16.2.5
- PHPUnit version 83 (via Composer)
- PHP Tools for visual studio 2019
see attached sample code used in our Process
TESTING_MODE is just used to verify in our code the right configuration file is used and it is.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<phpunit boostrap='./vendor/autoload.php'>
<php>
<includePath>.</includePath>
<const name="TESTING_MODE" value="true" />
</php>
<testsuites>
<testsuite name="Player_Test">
<file>./tests/servicesTest/LogonTest.php</file>
<file>./tests/servicesTest/ManufacturerTest.php</file>
<file>./tests/servicesTest/SupplierTest.php</file>
<file>./tests/servicesTest/ProductTest.php</file>
<file>./tests/servicesTest/LogoutTest.php</file>
</testsuite>
</testsuites>
</phpunit>
Thanks in advance for the help
Cédric
