VSCode: Syntax error for "Const" in namespace

Hello,

I just started evaluating this plugin, and it is giving an erroneous syntax error in a namespace: Syntax error: unexpected token 'Const'

PHP version is set to 8, and built-in PHP validation is disabled in settings. Am I missing something with how this needs to be configured?
