Xdebug for PHP 7.2 is outdated. Microsoft Web Platform installer will automatically install and configure Xdebug.
This is what I get when loading a PHP project or starting the website in Visual Studio 2017.
It has a checkbox which I've tried many times to let Web Platform do its thing but a command line window pops up then closes then I get an error.
The error says "Installation through the Microsoft Web Platform Installer has failed. Please check the log file, try again or install the product manually."
If I open the log file it's blank, nothing.
I've loaded a newer version of 7.2 PHP from the web platform installer. I could not find Xdebug so downloaded it and installed it in the php folder like the instructions says.
Debugging seems to still work but I would like to get rid of this error.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Windows 10 Pro 64bit, Using IIS Express. Latest PHPTools installed.
I haven't used VS in several weeks and then this message started showing up so not sure what happened.
Thanks,
Jeffery
