FrancoisRoussetdePina Thank you for reporting the issue.
This seems to be caused by a corrupted installation of the Visual Studio component - .NET SDK.
Please let me know if it helps. We'll try to get more information.
I have the same error. There are no installation issues shown in "Visual Studio Installer". Installing the .NET SDK 6.0 had no effect. I uninstalled DevSense PHP Tools extension and reinstalled it, but the error persists.
Product: PHP Tools for Visual Studio
Version: 1.82.20066.2022
Release Date: September 20, 2024
License: The product has been activated successfully.
Visual Studio: 17.11
My project is called "Ollo". When I load Ollo.sln the Solution Explorer window shows "Ollo (incompatible)". When I right-click on that and select "Reload project" I get the error "The SDK 'Devsense.Php.Sdk' specified could not be found." Now the Solution Explorer window shows "Ollo (load failed)".
Please advise.
I have the same problem this morning. I installed the update and the project will not load, nor will VS 2022 attach to any browser for debugging purposes. I tried the recommended fixes but didn't work. I had to roll the PHP Tools installation back to version 1.81.19965 to be able to use it.
I am having the same problem. I updated VS using the installer and then updated the PHP Tools within VS 2022. Now my project file is invalid and it is unable to find an SDK. Is this some sort of Key-File?
What should we do within the VS installer?
Thank you all for reporting the issue.
As @jeHawWebdesign mentioned, installing 1.81.19965 fixes the issue.
We're preparing a fixed 1.82 version now.
What are the steps to roll back to the previous extension version? I don't see extension version-management options in the Visual Studio Installer.
I just saw that version 1.82.20082 is available. Is this the fix?
Thanks in advance!

jeHawWebdesign Thank you for checking the update.
The download history is available at https://www.devsense.com/en/download/vs
Yes, the latest 1.82.20082 fixes the issue with missing Devsense.Php.Sdk. Although we're preparing a new update with more (not related) fixes.
