The IntelliPHP would not predict codes for me

Hi,

I am not sure when it started, but it no more show the predicted codes with gray color font for me since Copilot started to provide prediction. I've turned off the Copilot's auto completion by setting "github.copilot.editor.enableAutoCompletions": false. However, since Copilot has been disabled by that no codes segment prediction provided but some variables suggestions.

I've activated my license, and it should be expired on June, 2025.
I've also checked my settings, no matter setting "intelliphp.inlineSuggestionsEnabled" as true or remove it, in profile, folder or workspace's settings.json, still not showing any prediction (due to its default value should be true).

szwaymi Copilot and IntelliPhp suggestions should be combined if they are both enabled.

Please check the setting in the Settings UI to be sure (sometimes more settings are being overwritten in different scopes):

I didn't enable copilot's suggestion, and I don't want to since, I've licensed IntelliPHP.
I've checked the Settings UI, and checked the only one item, Enables or disabled...
I've checked the OUTPUT of IntelliPHP, and there are nothing.
The OUTPUT of IntelliPHP Server got one message: "One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined."

I am wondering if the IntelliPHP would be disabled when I disabled Copilot?

szwaymi, IntelliPhp does not rely on Copilot. It only requires you to have enabled "inline suggestions" feature in VSCode. so your settings should look like this: (this controls whether VSCode will render the suggestions from IntelliPhp or other inline suggestion extensions)

I've tried lots of settings, however, there are still no any predictions.
I uninstalled VS Code, and reinstalled, still no prediction.
Finally, I've uninstalled VS Code, then
I delete the folder C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\Code
and then reinstalled VS Code, and the predictions are back.

This looks like a bug in VSCode, but I'm glad you made it working again.

Adding: maybe a bug with how the license is stored. Pre-release of IntelliPHP may fix the problem (full release soon)

Hi Jakub,

I think you’re right—this issue was very likely caused by the license, based on what happened earlier.

This morning, when I launched Visual Studio Code, before anything else appeared, IntelliPHP popped up a window with license-related information. After that, it stopped providing code predictions.

The good news is, just as you suggested, after installing the pre-release version of IntelliPHP, code prediction is working again.
