PHP tools and github copilot

Hi, since the latest VS 2022 update, GitHub Copilot has stopped working in the PHP editor. IntelliPHP is disabled, and while I can see suggestions appearing in the Output window, nothing is displayed directly in the editor. When enabled, IntelliPHP suggestions work fine. Thank you.

I think there is a difference between AI Inline suggestions and GitHub Copilot - this setting in PHP Tools should be disabled for GitHub to take over. When I enable the setting in PHP Tools, suggestions from GitHub are COMPLETELY different from those shown in gray text in code. Is it possible that VS chang
ed how this works and somehow PHP Tools are disabling GitHub Copilot by disabling PHP AI? Also, I've experienced complete settings reset after last VS update...
Other file types (HTML, TWIG, JSON, XML) also doesn't have GitHub Copilot... and I was using those from GitHub Copilot release... and It was great... :(

brAdamStramski PHP Tools plugin comes with its own offline inline AI suggestions (called IntelliPHP).

We'll investigate why Copilot stopped working in the latest VS2022 update.
