Premium feature not active in Zed

Hi!

I've been using Zed for a while now. Initially I let the devsense license expire since it wasn't supported there but I just renewed it today. however I'm still not able to use premium features. I get this popup:

I configured it like this :

since I'm using Zed in remote ssh mode, I also added the license in the server settings. And then tried to restart Zed but it's not picking up the licence. not sure if it's not seeing the licence at all or if it thinks the licence is still expired though. couldn't find any logs about that

what can I do to debug this?

edit: I had to choose a tag for the IDE but Zed isn't there so I just picked vscode to be able to post

mathroc, thank you for posting the issue.

Can you check the LSP Log (phptools) for activation warnings or errors? In Zed open command palette (F1), and look for "language server logs", then select "phptools" in the upper drop down list.

Same settings, same error here on a Mac Studio.

Daniel, thank you. In LSP Logs, there is supposed to be a line similar to:

License registered.

Otherwise, the setting is either not passed to the language server, or the license key is invalid.

Does the license work when you open a local folder (no remote ssh mode)?

OK, I was copying the config lines from the screen shots in the docs and somehow the L in "lsp" became a 1. now it is working. thank you :)

Daniel I'm glad the issue has been resolved!

If it is more convenient, you can also set an environment variable DEVSENSE_PHP_LS_LICENSE on the remote server. I'll update the docs accordingly.

sorry I'm replying so late I thought I would get mail notification on replies but I guess I didn't choose the notification properly.

This is the logs I have on a local instance :

on the remote session I don't have any logs 🤷‍♂️ zed says it's running but :

I tried the env var but got the same result.

the offline method worked though. so I guess the remote call is not working but I don't have details about what's going wrong there.

anyway. issue solved for me

if at some point you add more logs and want me to try it again with the online
