I tried modifying something directly in the extension’s code, and it didn’t work. Since then, I keep seeing this message along with other errors:

I’ve already tried deleting the extension and deleting the workspace, but neither helped. At this point, I’m not sure what else to do.

Modifying the extension distribution is dangerous, and we can only provide support for the genuine extension. In this case, I would suggest the modified code be removed, and all instances of VSCode restarted;
