I'm specifically talking about within a php file. So, if I have a page with a .php extension, but within that file have a javascript area, the js color coding is goofy.
It doesn't appear that I can add a picture to this forum, so I can't show it.
`<script type="text/javascript">
function ValidateForm() {
var retval = true;
var errmsg = '';
if ((isNaN(document.forms['bi-form']['qtyCommit'].value)) || (parseInt(document.forms['bi-form']['qtyCommit'].value) != document.forms['bi-form']['qtyCommit'].value)) {
errmsg += 'Quantity Committed must be numeric and must be a whole number\n';
retval = false;
}
if (!retval) {
alert(errmsg);
}
return retval;
}
function clearMessage()
{
//alert('here');
$('.bimess').html('');
}
$(document).ready(function ()
{
var mesag;
$('select#BirdTypeId').change(function ()
{
var selectedBird = $(this).children("option:selected").val();
mesag = selectedBird;
$('.bimess').html(mesag);
});
});
</script>
<?php
$biFormError = true;
$biFormMessage = "";
$biContinue = true;
...
`
It's all of the special symbols - quotes, parens, etc. I have not found the correct setting to change in Fonts and Colors to correct this. If anyone knows which ones to change for this, I would be very grateful.
I do NOT have the problem when editing a .js file.
