Hello, i wasnt able to find some informations, but it seems like nothing is working for me, i just bought and activated PHP tools for visual studio code, and everything is just like before. I dont even get the syntax correction/error detecting, cant format code, nothing.

PHP Tools are activated, all other PHP plugins are deinstalled, but still nothing.

Any suggestions?

What Operating System do you run?

Please check the output log (View / Output, tab PHP Language Server):

If it's not there, vscode will probably give you an error message when opening any PHP file. You can see errors in Help / Toggle Developer Tools, tab Console. Please copy the log in here (at least the errors), so we can help you further.

Thanks for the response, in the meanwhile i found out, that it doesn't seem to work if i am connectect directly to my webserver using the following plugin:

When im loading a local directory, it works, but as im always developing directly on my server, this doesnt help me at all. Are there any recommendations, how i can proceed there?

We'll be improving the Remote FS support in the upcoming update; still, there won't be full code completion since the files are remote, and can't get analyzed by PHP Tools. Although, it will be working pretty well.

Otherwise, we're usually recommending working with the local copy of the remote project, and publishing/syncing the changes to the remote.

Thx again for the response. Is there any suggested plugin for syncing, i searched a bit but there are so many, and im pretty new in working with Visual Studio Code.

PS: Im on Windows 10, if that makes a difference.

You can use an extension from the same author - https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=liximomo.sftp - in case your remote is SFTP.

The common scenario is developing/fixing the project locally, test it, and then sync the changes to the remote.

I understand for quick edits on the remote, the RemoteFS extension is a straightforward solution. We'll try to provide as many features as possible with this approach.
