Error in Remote Explorer > Upload Changes

I have a project running in 1.56.14540. I have uploaded changes a few times without issue in Remote Explorer, but this morning I am getting an error "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: privateKey".

It may or may not be related, I had a merge conflict this morning which was manually resolved through the Visual Studio Merge Editor. The conflict has been resolved and updates committed and pushed. Again, it may be unrelated, but that is the only other thing that is out of the ordinary.

@medinaline thank you for reporting the issue.

It may be caused by the merge conflict actually. The remote profile credentials are encrypted and saved in .vs\\PublishProfiles\\<profilename>.phppub.user.

If this file gets removed or corrupted, you may need to re-enter your credentials. In the Remote Explorer, click Manage to do so. (https://docs.devsense.com/en/vs/project/remote-explorer)
