PHP Tools for MacOS

Recently I received a MacBook to do some mobile development and I'm wondering if the php debugger will also run on MacOS - would be great to have a sameless integration between xamarin mobile app with a php website. The vsix (latest 2019 file) does not seem to be recognized by Visual Studio Enterprise 2019 for MacOS extension manager.

Is there a way to get this working, or are there plans to release a MacOS version?

Hi Michel,

Despite its name, Visual Studio 2019 for MacOS is a completely different piece of software. Currently we are investigating the possibility of developing an integration for this IDE as well but it is not supported right now.

For MacOS, we provide PHP Tools for VS Code.
