Setting to autocomplete parenthesis

When i accept a function or method suggestion, it only auto completes the name but i also wanted the parenthesis. for example: with array_map, if you accept it, it writes array_map, i would it like to write array_map() and automatically put my cursor between the parenthesis. I think there should be a setting to enable/disable that.

What do you think?

There is no setting for this - yet - but we will look into it.

Adding to this, will be awesome if the autocompletion is done in a PHPStorm way, adding named params even thought they're not compatible with PHP 7.x but just as a "Snippet-like" thing (with ability for pressing tab to focus next parameter)

Now we have the new "php.completion.parameters" setting (set to "parentheses" by default).

Use "php.completion.parameters": "parameters" to insert the snippet with placeholders.
