Intended behavior to not close code lens search on double-click?

I've noticed that when viewing search results from your references code lens, it stays open when double-clicking a result and jumping to that line. Native behavior is to close the search dialog after that happens.

Here's an example of me first using the native ctrl+click to open references, then via code lens:

u77529 thank you! interesting, we haven't been altering the default behavior - I'll take a look on that!

u77529 currently I don't see a way of changing this behavior. We'll keep looking.

There is a setting editor.stablePeek which defaults to false. It seems, when we open the peek window, VSCode does not respect that. Or it's something else.
