mixed code coloring

Hey, I was looking for a solution to this, and you stated your extension can do it. What I am doing wrong if it is not working? I installed PHP Tools in VSC.
I have php file where is for example this:

function function() {
    $output = '<style>
        #gsdt-filter-form {
        ....

And there is no change in colors, style part is all one color

Thank you for the code sample.

In this case, the editor just can't know that it supposes to be XML-colored string.

Use HEREDOC or NOWDOC syntax instead, to specify the language of the string - VSCode will do full colors to it:

    $output = <<<HTML
<style>
    #gsdt-filter-form {
    }
HTML;
