Missing Xdebug for PHP 7.4 for IIS Express

After installing on Visual Studio 2019 I get the following when trying to debug:

After clicking continue I get the following:

When I open tmp9AF7.tmp there is nothing in it.

Any ideas?

I tried following this: https://community.devsense.com/d/258-can-t-install-php-7-4-or-xdebug-via-web-package-installer

I placed the extracted folders here AppData\Local\Microsoft\Web Platform Installer\installers as well as here C:\Users\Rob Carroll\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Web Platform Installer but received the same issue.

I've tried uninstalling an reinstalling the PHP tools multiple times but no luck.

I went here to see if there were logs for the web platformer installer but nothing.

AppData\Local\Microsoft\Web Platform Installer\logs\webpi

MiloslavBeno Any ETA or quick fix. I had devsense working fine and then all of the sudden it stopped working when I ran an update and now I can't get it reinstalled to work on client files.

Hi Rob,

We have it fixed internally, but it might be few days when it's out as a preview. But there is a workaround.

Open Microsoft Web Platform Installer
Click Options and add devsense feed
Then look for Xdebug for PHP 7.4 for IIS Express (64bit if you want)
Install

Then it should work as expected and next update will fix everything.
